Prison break causes prison mass murder. But it is also dungeons and dragons. Betty mansplains the evils of dungeons and dragons to Jughead. What nerds. Or maybe Jughead finally snapped, and his manic delusions kicked in.
Oh, the bullets were rubber. Archie is being branded by the prison. Woop woop. Gay Betty shirt moment. "The midnight club" hurbadurbadurba GFD Betty. The serpents ate taking DnD to the real world. Jughead is suicidal again. He wants Cheryll to kill him. He also thinks he is like better than everyone else. FP is hating on his son because his son got addicted to DnD just like he was back in the day.
Anyhow, Jughead is doing his Sherlock Holmes big brain murder mystery solving. Uh oh, Josie and Kevin's parents are marrying. Veronica is undercover to watch Archie get his ass wooped. And now she's visiting his injured self. Only to bone it out. L + ratio + stop having sex please. They are now plotting a God damned escape. What the hell.
People are en masse becoming suspicious of their parents. Veronica begs them for help to save archiebald, so everyone is distracted. Jughead is setting up a game night. But he gets roped into it. He is so deep down in his delusions, and I recognize this. Archie is going to be removed from the game. The warden is revealing Hiram's secrets because he thinks Archie will die. The DnD game has the same plot as the prison break. Archie warns Joaquin about his potential disappearance and kisses him before stabbing him. The warden said that it would help him ascend.
I hate blonde Veronica. She is such a bitch. Cheyll (Veronica) threatens a guard. Some rando (Kevin) breaks in. Archie is being beaten to hell by an old friend. Joaquin is betraying Kevin. Archie is inviting his old friend to escape alongside him. Veronica punched Harim, and the gang throw smoke bombs onto the field. Archie escapes with his friend far behind him. Oh, the entire time, there is a DnD game with the same plot. They tricked the guards in sending all their manpower to chase a decoy, and they succeed. Jughead only knows as much as the warden. The red paladin (Archie) drops into the DnD crew. Veronica discovers Archie's burn mark. Hermoine is chewing out Harim for putting her in a tough situation, and now also does the same to Veronica because she cares about human lives or whatever. Archie is still half dead, and Betty is investigating the GnG game. Archie wants to escape, but Veronica is like, nuh, uh. The cops are pressing the kids for alibis. With like severe threats. Which caused someone to get so stressed they had a seizure. The serpents are infighting. But also puzzling the puzzle. Betty is pressing her mom and her friends for an answer. And now all the parents are fighting about who is the killer. Betty accidentally told FP that his son is still actively playing GnG, which is like bad or whatever. He then went home and tied Jughead up, which is non-bases. Veronica is trying to clear Archie's record, but Hiram is in her way for some reason. Betty frees Jughead. Archie and Kevin are hunting down the people who lied to get him imprisoned. Veronica got evidence to clear Archie but got jailed instead. Jughead found Joaquin, and it is revealed that he is now part of the gargoyle gang. They are manhandling Joaquin to get answers, and it is revealed that Archie has to die because he is a sacrifice.
Jughead accuses Hiram of being the gargoyle king, and Hiram is calling Jughead names now and threatening his father. Womp womp. Betty is investigating an old framed suicide. And us now pressing the old sheriff for details. "The midnight club" GFD Mr Keller. I hate you. The gargoyle cult has some style. Drawing on the walls, mass murder. Mass Graves even. Joaquin gets killed with the sacrifice symbol being carved into his forehead. Fred and Mr. Keller are all over the place. During from stress. Archie is being followed by death. Veronica is using the evidence to free Archie, and Betty is pressing Penelope for details about the murder. Betty just gets sent on a wild goose chase to every member of the old GnG club, and while bickering with her mom, the gargoyle breaks in and does some spooky scary shit. Mr Keller finds out his son, Kevin, is not dead or injured. Veronica is threatening to tear down her parents to save Archie if the need calls for it.
Betty's mom is leaving to join a cult and forcing Betty to go back to the sisters who are well known for severely abusing everyone they take in. Archie refuses to go back to riverdale because he is afraid of Hiram because he does not want Hiram to hurt Veronica. This is such a boring sappy scene. Veronica is crying and coping and seething right now. Jughead is abetting Archie's escape. Escaping together even. That's so gay, I wish my partner took me trainhopping somewhere.
