This is my movie collection. DVD, BLU-RAY, Maybe eventually even VHS will all be found here, in alphabetical order (with images I took and edited!!!!). I hope you like seeing what all I have in my collection, and I hope others will share theirs too! I like collecting physical media because these days, with the state of the world, the economy, the internet (and AI/search algorithms), and streaming services, It feels like this is one of the view ways to discover real feeling independent movies in this day and age.

A Beautiful Mind, 2001, AVG 3.9 stars, my rating 4.5 stars. Review: I honestly thought this was quite a nice movie. I really liked how it depicted the psychosis and hallucinations, they feel quite realistic, though played up for effect. I had no clue where this film was going to go, had not had any spoilers prior to finding it at a flea market. I thought it was horror, then romance, but never had I expected a biographical piece. It was quite a cool experience to watch it. Wish it had been longer, though. So many good scenes were left out.

An Occasional Hell, 1996, AVG 2.0? stars, my rating 1.0 stars. Review: Fever dream ahhh movie with too much sex, drugs, rock 'n roll for my liking. Call me a prude, but this just is not the vibe for me. No thank you. The plot is confused about what it is supposed to be, the character development is headache inducing, and I regret to say this movie is now in my DVD collection.

Beneath the Skin, 2005, AVG 3.0? stars, my rating 3.0 stars. Review: Decent movie. Really encapsulates the feeling of reading a just a little bit too slow thriller novel that you also just can not manage to put down. Felt like quite the artsy film even though, or maybe because, it had a really low budget. The story is paced quite slowly, and I got a tad lost at times due to the pacing, but all things considered it was quite fun!

Beowulf, 2007, AVG 2.7 stars, my rating 3.0 stars. Review: Well, I found the directors cut of this movie on blu ray in a thrift shop and just had to pick it up. I did not know a thing about this rendition of Beowulf going into it. I expected some really low quality CGI intensive live action movie, but I got so so much more than that. This is a hidden gem when it comes to animation. It looks so good half of the time (though this ends up serving to make the other half look god awful). Over all, this movie was enjoyable to me.

The other beowolf

Blood and Chocolate, 2007, AVG 2.4 stars, my rating 2.0 stars. Review: Shitty twilight wanna be movie that somehow became better than twilight.

Blood and Wine, 1996, AVG 3.0 stars, my rating 3.0 stars. Review: What? I am confused. I thought it was going to be about an alcoholic mafia duder. I did not come here to see a family drama movie. It was a decent watch regardless. I feel like the necklace would be a lot more expensive nowadays.

Brotherhood of Murder, 1998, AVG 2.8? stars, my rating 3.0 stars. Review: Bought this having no clue what I was getting in to. I did not expect this at all. I only bought the movie because the guy on the cover looked vaguely like a younger version of Wilson from House MD. I did not expect a 'based on true story' (however exaggerated it may be) story about a NAZI (mind you, the Jew hating, majorly racist and violent type) CULT. The ending (Well, the big gun fight just beforehand) was kinda dope. Made this whole movie feel worth the watch. Usually I would root more for a guy in his position, but he was a horrid person, so you know? Glad he died.

CastingX, 2007, AVG 1.0 stars, my rating 1.0 stars. Review: What the fuck did we just watch? Shitshow. Terrible. Fuckass. Horrid. What?

Deadly Weapon, 1989, AVG 3.0? stars, my rating 3.5 stars. Review: Bullied boy enters a psychotic break and terrorizes the town full of people that tortured him. He does a lot of abhorrent things, and the entire runtime walks the line of insanity, but I quite enjoyed the movie. It is kind of sad that when he finally puts down his weapons, he gets shot, and his death framed as a suicide. Quite a good, yet obscure movie.

Dogma, 1999, AVG 3.5 stars, my rating 4.5 stars. Review: This movie was absolute peak. Fucking peak. Peak peak peak peak peak. I had expected this movie to be more offensive, based on the name and description, but honestly? This movie nailed walking the line. It was absolutely hilarious, and I personally believe not a singular human character was straight. Absolute peak. My only problem with the film is the ending, I do not entirely enjoy how 'return to christianity' ended up being the takeaway from this. I wish the gay angel bros just made out instead.

Donnie Darko (Special Edition), 2001, AVG 4.0 stars, my rating 5.0 stars. Review: I absolutely loved watching this movie, though i was at times a tad bit confused. I really like how it portrays mental issues. I like how incoherent and all over the place this movie is. Absolutely awesome. Wish to see more like this.

Ghost Lake, 2004, AVG 2.6 stars, my rating 2.0 stars. Review: God awful piece of overly long horror media which is poorly written, acted, edited, and released. It is so awful that it would be hilarious if it did not over stay its welcome long as it did. It starts off being a generic 90s horror movie, but slowly goes off of the rails and spirals into a messy, overly ambitious hurricane of a movie. It is fun, but I regret buying it.

Heavenly Creatures, 1994, AVG 3.8 stars, my rating 5.0 stars. Review: Rather unfair they are separated for life in my opinion. No love should be banned, not even if the lovers become delusional and homicidal against the people trying to keep the love from being there.

Interview With a Serial Killer/White Angel, 1994, AVG 2.5? stars, my rating 4.0 stars. Review: Not a bad movie, no, not at all. I did not in the slightest expect her to end up being framed as the killer TBH. I would recommend this film if you are able to find it somewhere. Really underrated, I feel.

Beneath the Skin, 2002, AVG 2.3 stars, my rating 0.5 stars. Review: Too pornographic for my liking. And it most certainly does not deserve to be called a thriller. This is just a movie to make middle aged white women thirst at the love life they could have had, but most definitely do not. Massive L of a movie.

Melancholia, 2011, AVG 3.8 stars, my rating 5.0 stars. Review: It felt as though I watched two separate movies. Two movies entirely different to one another. It felt as though the characters lived in two entirely separate worlds. It just felt confusing, and tiring. I feel like the planet melancholia might be a stand-in for suicide. And how different types of people react to their own suicide after they have already set it in motion. Accepting that yes, you are killing yourself, and you can no longer do anything about it. And not accepting it, and instead panicking and feeling even sadder with yourself. Feeling as though you have wasted your life. I do not think this was an intended reading of the movie, but these are thoughts and feelings it awoke inside of me.
The depression felt really accurately portrayed in my opinion. I related to a lot of aspects of that in a weird way. I wish there was a fix.

My Sweet Killer, 1999, AVG 1.5? stars, my rating 2.5 stars. Review: Low budget, low quality, poor execution, confusing is balls, but all things considered not horrid. Just a guy who loses his mind after he runs out of medications. Which really feels like there is a pattern in movies I have been watching lately. Most curious.

New Kids Turbo, 2010, AVG 3.2 stars, my rating 3.5 stars. Review: Watched this movie for the first time yesterday, it was absolutely godawful. But god is this a masterpiece. It is violent and gross, crosses every line, but god is it good.

Prozac Nation, 2001, AVG 3.4 (HOW THE FUCK) stars, my rating 0.5 stars. Review: That ending was such a fucking nothing burger what the hell. "Take pills until you are no longer yourself but you are a good slave to the machine" is not a message I expected this to turn into by the end of it, what the fuck. This movie kinda sucks. Af least it has Lou fucking Reed in the movie. Else I would have killed myself before the runtime was over. Fuck ass movie.

Stigmata, 1999, AVG 2.8 stars, my rating 5.0 stars. Review: (Watched the directors ending)Absolutely gorgeous movies which delves deep down into the issues of modern day organized religion. It has a totally awesome soundtrack and was just so cool to watch. I enjoyed the hell out of this movie.
My favorite lines were: "how's your faith now, father?" and "you will not destroy my church" for completely opposite reasons. They just held so much power to them. The filmography in this movie is also just so awesome. So many of the scenes are so unnecessarily beautiful.

The 10 Commandments of Mafia, 2010, AVG --- stars, my rating 1.0 stars. Review: Shitty documentary.

The Blair Witch Project, 1999, AVG 3.3 stars, my rating 3.0 stars. Review: Well, that sure was a found footage movie with a lot of witches. I mean, I can not actually believe how much they showed the witch in this movie, like, seriously, it got old after the tenth time of seeing the witch.

The Brotherhood, 2001, AVG 2.8 stars, my rating 4.0 stars. Review: Low budget homoeroticism was not what I expected to find at that local thrift shop. Alas, though. This happens to be peak. It was so asswipe terrible that I enjoyed the fuck out of it, except for the ending, the ending felt very cheap.

The Safe House, 2001, AVG 3.0 stars, my rating 3.0 stars. Review: Quite enjoyed this thriller, though it did not thrill me much. I could not help but feel the melancholia of the events in the movie wash over me at the end of the film. Quite good for a one off watch.

Thir13en Ghosts, 2001, AVG 2.7 stars, my rating 3.0 stars. Review: I still do not have the faintest clue what this movie is actually about.

Trance, 1998, AVG 2.9 stars, my rating 1.0 stars. Review: not good

Underworld (Special Edition), 2003, AVG 3.1 stars, my rating 3.0 stars. Review: Peak furry vs vampire eternal battle story. Why is this such a common plot, can vampires and werewolves not just be friends? Good movie, fun watch. Enjoyed it quite a bit. Loved the outfits an awful lot.

Voodoo Academy, 2007, AVG 2.8 stars, my rating 2.0 stars. Review: What in the weird demonic cult porn did I just watch? This was absolute peak in the most hilariously awful way. I can not WAIT to see the sequel, in hopes it is of a similar caliber. Some of the parts that had me crack up the most were "Snuck into the bathroom to smoke a Marijuana cigarette" and "Open your shirt Mr McCready, put your hands on your body, show me how you touch yourself" Mr priest dude, this is a confessional. And not to forget when the priest gives the erotic massage in the bathtub and the dude turns into magical sparkles and a voodoo doll

White Noise, 2005, AVG 2.4 stars, my rating 1.0 stars. Review: This one is quite shit, boring, and forgettable. It is just a big 'ole nothing burger. Regret buying this.
This Page is just a tad bit broken, And I have no clue how to fix it. So you know, hope you enjoyed this broken ahh page.
